Cost is $135 for a half day or $240 for a full day. This includes zoo entry which enables very relaxing breaks. Workshop leader Patrick O’Sullivan is Drama New Zealand’s latest member.

The Ministry of Education has told schools they will not get extra support for teaching the arts next year. Drama New Zealand regrets the decision and predicts that this will cause real difficulties for the Drama classroom teacher in primary and secondary schools. Post a comment on this site.

This Ministry of Education Background briefing paper from 1999 introduces a rationale for Drama. Interestingly in the light of this week’s Mantel of the Expert Conference it makes no mention of MOTE or the visits of Dorothy Heathcote to New Zealand!
